At a press conference today in Mexico City, Google announced its first version of Assistant in Spanish, integrated into its messaging app, Allo.
Although Assistant in Allo can be used in Spanish around the world, including countries where Spanish is not the native language, the version for Mexico and Spain is improved to give more accurate information in those countries, Google Mexico explained to CNET en Español.
The Allo app, free on the Play Store for Android and App Store for iOS , has been available in both countries (and many more) for some time, but without Spanish support. An updated version can be downloaded Tuesday for both platforms, however there is no support for Assistant in Spanish outside of Allo.
