The proud dad showed off the efforts of his weight loss regime by baring his flatter belly at the Paul Strank annual gala
STAVROS Flatley star Demetri Demetriou has shown off his impressive weight loss at the Paul Strank charity bash after changing his body with a new weightloss regime.
The father of the Britain’s Got Talent dancing duo showed off a much slimmer frame after control of his diet and starting a new regime to lose sevreal stone in weight.
Demi was last seen dropping to 13 stone after an appearance on Sugar Free Farm back in January 2017, joining the likes of Alison Hammond, Joe Pasquale and Gemma Collins in the mission to improve their diet with the help of nutritionist Hala El-Shafie.
It appears that months later Demi has stuck to what he learned during his time on the show and looks happier than ever before as he proudly lifted his shirt at the event to reveal the Cyrpus stomach tattoo that he has become known for.
Marking eight years since he shot to fame with his son, Lagi, now 21, the dad has made sure the pair have made the most of their fame.
However, the dancing duo faced a worrying time recently when Lagi was accused of taking part in an alleged cannabis factory, and was subsequently arrested for.
Thankfully, all charges against Lagi were dropped last month after police did not find enough evidence to charge him.
Speaking to the Sun Online, Demetri admitted: “We’re relieved, obviously, because we knew he had nothing to do with it.”

He said he had asked his son go to the flat where the plants were reportedly found after the family was told there was a leak in the property, with Lagi opening the door for firefighters in February.
Demetri then admitted he felt it was his fault that his son had been there in the first place, and said: “We were called and I made the decision for Lagi to go over there, I was tired.
“But it could have been me, it could have been my wife – it was my fault, I sent him there.
“I put my son through that. He has just turned 21 now, but I still consider him my baby.”
Demetri said police could not investigate as the tenant could not be found, and revealed: “We gave police the tenant’s names but they disappeared.
“They (the police) can’t find him.”
A Scotland Yard spokesman told The Sun: “He is not being proceeded with, so that is the end of the matter.”
