MAGICAL MAJESTY TOURS
Palace aides ‘record the show for the Monarch’ so she doesn’t miss an episode
COACH Trip presenter Brendan Sheerin has revealed the most unlikely fan of the cult TV show — the Queen.
Brendan, 58, said palace aides ensure she never misses an episode while she is away.
He said: “I’ve heard the Queen has it recorded in when she’s away. It makes me so proud as I love the Queen. I think she’s an amazing lady, especially all the good things she’s done for this country. She’s phenomenal.”
Brendan has been hosting the show for 14 years. A new series called Coach Trip: Road To Zante starts tonight at 7.30pm.
The series features a coachload of couples travelling around European tourist destinations taking part in various activities.
A pair is voted off after each episode by fellow contestants and replaced.
Brendan also claimed movie star Keira Knightley and her musician husband James Righton enjoyed the series, which moved to E4 last year.
He said: “I was on Sunday Brunch with James and he said him and Keira love it, which is great.”
